Koyang City plans to sell Ilsan Techno Valley's high-tech manufacturing industry, knowledge infrastructure, and research facility sites and foster bio, medical, media, and content businesses as high-tech industrial innovation clusters.
Venture companies in Ilsan Techno Valley, which have recently been designated as a new venture promotion zone by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, can enjoy reductions such as acquisition tax and property tax.The city of
has prepared a basis for supporting land purchase costs of up to 800,000 won per square meter when investing more than 3,300 square meters of industrial facility land based on the 'Ordinance on Promotion of Investment in Goyang City'.
Ilsan Techno Valley was selected as a public offering project in Gyeonggi Province in 2016 and is jointly implemented by Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Management Corporation (GH), and Goyang City Management Corporation.
With an area of 872,000 square meters in Daehwa-dong, Seo-gu, Ilsan, 850 billion won is invested to create location infrastructure to attract innovative companies in bio, medical, media, contents, and high-tech manufacturing.The city of
expects that the creation of Ilsan Techno Valley will create about 22,000 jobs and 500 billion won in economic inducement.
In addition, it plans to maximize the growth synergy of tenant companies in connection with Goyang Broadcasting Video Valley, KINTEX Exhibition Hall 3, and Janghang Public Housing District, which are being built nearby.
