3 researchers killed...Police raid Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant

Police launched a search and seizure last month in connection with the death of three researchers who were testing vehicle performance at Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant.

The Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency raided the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Hyundai Motor Company in Buk-gu, Ulsan today (2nd).

Police are known to secure work-related data and safety-related data at the time of the accident from the electricity quality business department and the safety department.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor has also been conducting special supervision of industrial safety since the 29th of last month and is investigating compliance with safety and health rules.

Earlier on the afternoon of the 19th of last month, three researchers died in an accident believed to be suffocation of exhaust gas in the vehicle experiment space of Hyundai Motor's Ulsan plant electrification quality division.
