President Yoon Suk Yeol has promised to legislate a reservation deposit system and lower delivery fees to ease the difficulties of small business owners and self-employed people.

He said he would increase the number of "private commercial district planners" like Jongwon Baek to 1,000 to revitalize local commercial districts and break down regulations that press public consumer sentiment.

President Yoon Suk Yeol held his first public welfare debate in the second half of the state administration and announced measures to support small business owners and self-employed people.

After presenting "overcoming polarization" as a task for the second half of the state administration on the 1st of last month, he took his first public livelihood step in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do.

[Yoon Suk Yeol / President: Just as small business owners and self-employed people were at the forefront at the start of his term, the state administration in the second half of the year will do its best to break the polarization and open a new middle-class era with you.]

{President Yoon promised to reduce delivery fees, which have been the biggest burden for self-employed people since COVID-19, by more than 30% and exempt traditional markets from fees at all.

He added that he will adjust the commission and settlement cycle of mobile gift certificates such as Kakao Talk gift giving.

It has also come up with relief measures for the so-called 'four major damages online and offline', including the imposition of disposable fines and illegal advertising agency.

In particular, he said he would implement a reservation deposit system to prevent a 'no-show' worth 4.5 trillion won per year.

He also said he plans to foster 1,000 private commercial planners such as broadcaster Jongwon Baek and raise a 500 billion won local commercial development fund.President Yun
