The director, who abused a 4-year-old child to death at the Taekwondo studio, told the court, "It was the bereaved family who took off the respiratory tract in a brain-dead state."

According to a Yonhap News TV report on the 3rd, Director A, who was arrested and charged with the murder of child abuse, reportedly claimed that all three trials were pranks from the beginning and that there was no intention.

Earlier in July, director A hit Choi Do-ha's head several times at a taekwondo center in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, and left him upside down in a hole in the mat he had rolled up.

Doha, who was left unattended for 27 minutes, was taken to the hospital in a coma, but died of "hypoxic brain injury" 11 days after the incident. At that time, the bereaved family stopped life-sustaining treatment in consultation with the hospital in a situation where the possibility of recovery was slim.

In this regard, Director A repeated that there was no causal relationship between abuse and death, saying that he beckoned the offender next to Doha at the time to take out the child.

He even handed over the responsibility, saying, "The act of taking off the respiratory tract in a brain-dead state was done by the bereaved family." People who have been brain dead for 10 years can also wake up, and they argued that hospital records should be checked for the act of taking off the respiratory tract after a few days of brain death.

The bereaved families are complaining of distress at the attitude of director A who does not reflect on his mistakes.

The police will also soon investigate three Taekwondo masterminds who were sued by the bereaved family on charges of child abuse and assistance.
