The Institute for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank, predicted that President Yoon Suk Yeol's chances of survival in Korea were uncertain due to the storm after the declaration of martial law.

Victor Cha, a CSIS Korean chair, and Andy Lim, a researcher, gave the prospect of what will happen after the martial law crisis through e-mail data in the form of question-and-answer format.

Cha and others pointed out that declaring martial law appears to be a strong and decisive step by President Yoon to prevent political instability, but the rapid mobilization of the National Assembly and a flood of street protests against President Yoon, who has only a 10% approval rating, could lead to the end of President Yoon.

He also predicted that although North Korea's position has not come out, it is almost clear that it will exploit the confusion for the purpose of political attack on President Yoon.
