Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon of the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office posted a message on the prosecution's internal network and E-Pros today (4th) and criticized the situation.
Prosecutor Kim stressed the need for an immediate investigation, saying most lawyers must have sensed that the declaration of martial law did not meet the requirements set by the Constitution.
The court's internal network Courtnet also posted articles from current judges criticizing the declaration of martial law.
Judge Park Byung-gon of the Seoul Central District Court said the martial law incident was an unconstitutional coup attempt and asked Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae to express a stronger warning.
Kim Do-kyun, a senior judge at the Busan District Court, also urged reflection, saying in a post on Courtnet that the Supreme Court responded passively to the declaration of martial law, which was unconstitutional and illegal.
