Last night (3rd), citizens who gathered in front of the National Assembly to protest the emergency martial law gathered on the stairs of the main building of the National Assembly today.

Because the stairs are full and there are no seats, some citizens are joining the rally with signs containing slogans next to the stage.

Citizens are holding candles and shouting that the president should be impeached immediately.

The candlelight vigil began around 6 p.m. today, and citizens continued to speak freely before the main event began.

Various citizens, from second-grade middle school boys to college students from the provinces, gathered to denounce the declaration of emergency martial law.

The rally participants said they will hold a rally at 7 p.m. every evening in the National Assembly until Yoon Suk Yeol steps down.

He also criticized President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law as anti-democratic and anti-constitutional.
