According to the Central Election Commission, about 10 martial law soldiers arrived at the NEC building at around 10:30 p.m. yesterday (3rd), shortly after President Yoon's declaration of martial law, and about two hours later, around 0:30 p.m. today (4th), 110 more troops were added and deployed around the building.
Martial law forces entered some offices, including the office of duty, and conducted a vigilance operation inside the NEC building. It was found that the National Assembly withdrew completely at around 1:50 a.m., about 50 minutes after the National Assembly voted on a resolution to lift the emergency martial law.
An official from the Central Election Commission explained that there were no conflicts during the martial law operation, and no injuries occurred.
