The U.S.-Korea Next Generation Council, consisting of second generations of young Koreans born and raised in the U.S., not international students or Koreans with Korean voting rights, called for a peaceful resolution of the martial law situation in City Hall, New Jersey.
They issued a declaration of the state of affairs stating that law enforcement agencies should immediately arrest Yoon Suk Yeol's president for rebellion and that direct and indirect accomplices should be held legally responsible.
This is the first time that the second generation of Koreans, who have protested racial discrimination or joined forces to Google to correct that the kimchi-based country is Korea, have declared the current situation.
The Korean community's interest in the impeachment is growing as international students and Korean scholars in the U.S., including the University of Michigan's Ann Arbor campus, have also declared a state of affairs.
