The 2024 Indo-Pacific High-Level Forum, which was scheduled to be held in Seoul tomorrow co-hosted by South Korea and Australia, has been postponed due to domestic circumstances.

Foreign Ministry officials said they have decided to postpone the hosting of the "high-level forum on humanity" in consideration of all circumstances, suggesting that the recent emergency martial law crisis and the president's impeachment have had an impact.

The official explained that the schedule will be adjusted to allow the forum to be held under more stable conditions.

The event was first planned to be co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in December last year, which marked the first anniversary of the government's Indo-Pacific strategy announcement.
