A large-scale candlelight vigil was also held in front of the National Assembly today (12th), when President Yoon Suk Yeol announced his fourth public statement on the emergency martial law crisis.

At a rally hosted by Yoon Seok-yeol's government's retreat movement headquarters at 6 p.m., citizens urged President Yoon to be immediately impeached without reflection.

After the rally, he marched to the central party of the People's Power near the National Assembly and called for the second impeachment bill to be passed the day after tomorrow (14th).

Progressive groups that previously held rallies around Seoul's city hall changed their marching destinations to Yongsan's presidential office and Hannam-dong's official residence after President Yoon's statement, and police and rally participants once confronted each other as police prevented them from heading to the official residence.
