The Changwon District Court sentenced A in his 30s to 10 months in prison for embezzling company money about a month after being sentenced to prison for fraud.

Mr. A was put on trial for embezzling about 15 million won in equipment sales 39 times between August 2022 and November last year.

A, who was a salesperson, kept the money he received after signing a contract to sell equipment with a customer and used it for personal purposes, and was released from prison in July of that year after serving eight months in prison for fraud in April 2022.

The court explained that jail time was inevitable, saying that he committed the crime again as soon as he was released from prison after being punished for fraud, and that he was not even able to agree with the victim or be forgiven.
