The Seoul Metropolitan Government's budget for next year has been confirmed at 48.114 trillion won.

It is an increase of more than 2.3 trillion won compared to this year, and in particular, more than 500 billion won has been set up to support small business owners and traditional markets.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has expressed its willingness to execute the budget as soon as possible, considering that the sluggish domestic demand has caused political instability and consumer and investment sentiment to shrink significantly.

[Oh Se-hoon / Seoul Mayor: It will be a great help to the citizens for increasing the budget that helps the economy and people's livelihood by the small business Heimbo-Taem project. // Execute the budget as early as possible so that citizens can feel the improvement of the economic situation....]

More than 1 trillion won has also been set aside for housing measures to address the low birth rate, such as "My House in advance," which gives newlyweds a 20-year lease and a chance to buy up to 20% cheaper than the market price when they have children.

In addition, projects to revitalize local commercial areas, support village buses, and install protective fences were increased during the city council adjustment process, but

COVID-19 vaccination and general account reserves have been cut.The budget for the

City Office of Education was set at KRW 10.8826 trillion. The

city council confirmed the budget to allow free education even after state support for free high school education ends, and increased 123.6 billion won to support schools and improve the environment of school facilities.

However, it cut 131.2 billion won, including the cost of supplying smart devices.
