The Constitutional Court must now decide whether to impeach Yoon Suk Yeol in 180 days.

However, if President Yoon undergoes a criminal trial, the Constitutional Court's hearing may be suspended for a certain period of time.

Now the public's attention is on the Constitutional Court, which will decide whether to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol.

As the Constitutional Court's decision has no choice but to have a great political and social impact, it is also of great interest when the sentence will be announced.

The Constitutional Court must issue a sentence within 180 days from the date of receipt of the case.

If the trial period is exhausted, the sentence will come out in June, but it seems unlikely.

Controversy over the 'justification' of the Constitutional Court's decision could arise as the case should be handled with an incomplete 'six-person system',

This is because Acting Constitutional Court Chief Justice Moon Hyung-bae and Judge Lee Mi-sun are scheduled to retire on April 18 next year.

As such, the prevailing observation is that the conclusion will be made before this.

There are also variables.According to Article 51 of the Constitutional Court Act

, if criminal proceedings are underway for the same reason as the request for an impeachment trial, the court can stop the proceedings.

Currently, not only the "cooperation investigation headquarters" but also the prosecution sees President Yoon as the pinnacle of the emergency martial law situation and is engaged in a race to speed up the investigation.

As there is a high possibility of prosecution, there is a possibility that President Yoon will use a delay strategy based on this provision.

However, the prevailing observation is that the Constitutional Court will not stop the judgment process in consideration of social confusion and the seriousness of the issue.
