The prosecution's special investigation headquarters today (15th) requested an arrest warrant for Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo, who served as the martial law commander when President Yoon Suk Yeol declared emergency martial law.
President Park is the person who announced decree No. 1, which contains unconstitutional contents that prohibit all political activities after martial law was declared on the 3rd.
In addition, President Park reportedly delivered the martial law proclamation to Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho and asked him to follow the National Assembly's control order.
President Park, however, claims that he knew martial law was declared after seeing the announcement of President Yoon's statement and that he did not write the decree himself.
