Amid a month of reports of unidentified drones appearing in New Jersey and New York, U.S., U.S. Senator-elect Andy Kim of South Korea has called for the federal government's responsible response.

Lawmaker Kim said in a Facebook post on the 14th local time that he concluded that most of the suspicious drone cases he witnessed were manned planes after investigating with the help of the police.

Kim stressed that the Federal Aviation Administration has not submitted this kind of analysis even though it has more resources and experience in aircraft identification.

He also said he thought the situation reflected the current situation in the United States, noting that people now have a lot of anxiety about the economy, health care and security, but those responsible often do not treat the public with respect.

He added that he would continue to pressure authorities on what happens with drones and pressure the government to better meet civic needs.
