Prosecutors to Arrest Former LS Securities Executives for 'Acquiring tens of billions of PF Information'

A former securities company executive accused of privately acquiring tens of billions of won worth of real estate project financing loans using job-related information has been put on trial in custody.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's Anti-Corruption Division 3 (Chief Prosecutor Lee Seung-hak) today (16th) arrested and indicted a former securities company executive, identified only by his surname Kim, on charges of bribery and other charges under the Special Police Act.

Kim is accused of secretly operating a real estate developer and leaking 83 billion won in loans and taking 60 billion won of them using job information he learned about the real estate PF project.

Prosecutors also handed over accomplice Yoo and accomplice Hong, who acquired 15 billion won of the remaining PF loans, to trial without detention on charges of breach of trust under the Special Police Act, respectively.
