The emergency martial law special investigation team summoned former Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min as a suspect.

It seems to be investigating former Minister Lee, who is classified as a close aide to President Yoon Suk Yeol, not only the situation at the time of the Cabinet meeting but also whether he knew the emergency martial law earlier.

Former Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min attended the police emergency martial law special investigation team as a suspect.

It has been a week since the police demanded an official appearance on the 9th.

Former minister Lee was accused by the police of rebellion, including attending a Cabinet meeting before declaring an emergency martial law.

The police appear to be investigating former minister Lee to see if there were any discussions about the situation at the Cabinet meeting and the deployment of police personnel.

In particular, former Minister Lee is classified as a close aide as President Yoon's junior at Chungam High School and Seoul National University, so it seems to be looking into whether he knew about martial law in advance.

Earlier, former minister Lee appeared at the National Assembly after the emergency martial law incident and was controversial for his remarks that seemed to defend martial law.

[Lee Sang-min / Former Minister of Public Administration and Security (last 5th): The President exercised the powers stipulated in the Constitution, and emergency martial law is recognized as a highly disciplined act of governance. So it has to be understood in that respect....]

Also, shortly after martial law, on the 4th, Justice Minister Park Sung-jae, Legal Affairs Minister Lee Wan-kyu, and Senior Presidential Secretary for Civil Affairs Kim Joo-hyun were found to have met at the president's safe house.

In addition to former minister Lee, the police said they investigated seven members of the State Council who attended the Cabinet meeting on the 3rd and are conducting a reference investigation even if they are not accused.
