A fire broke out on the first floor of a 17-story building in Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, at around 6:20 p.m. today (16th).
The fire rescued 24 people inside the building, and 350 people evacuated themselves, so no one was injured.
197 firefighters used 48 equipment to extinguish the fire in about two hours.
Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire based on initial reports of smoke coming from the ceiling of the Philotti column on the bridge connecting the two buildings.
