Democratic Party lawmakers, who were appointed as members of the special committee on personnel hearings, held a press conference and argued that the People's Power Kwon Sung-dong's argument that the acting president cannot appoint a constitutional judge recommended by the National Assembly has no legal basis.
According to the Personnel Hearing Act, the National Assembly should complete the hearing by the 24th, adding that the chairman of the special committee on personnel hearings, who is currently nominated as a member of the People's Power, can also be changed if elected as a Democratic Party member.
