Opposition candidates who will run for the president of the Korea Sports Council in January next year have agreed on a big framework for unification.

Kang Shin-wook, an honorary professor at Dankook University, Yoo Seung Min, former president of the Table Tennis Association, Park Chang-beom, former president of the Wushu Association, and Ahn Sang-soo, former mayor of Incheon, decided to hold an emergency meeting at a hotel in Seoul and push for a "unification of candidates" against Lee Ki-heung, who is likely to challenge for a third term.

After more than two hours of meetings, they announced two agreements to achieve a single candidate desired by ▲ people and athletes and to resolve the difference in position by the 23rd, the day before ▲ candidate registration.

However, there were differences in specific methods such as poll questions, population, and timing, so we decided to continue meeting several times later.
