The Joint Investigation Headquarters, which is joined by the police and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, also notified President Yoon Suk Yeol of the summons, but it was confirmed that the request for attendance was not delivered.

The government is considering whether to issue a second summons notice, judging that President Yoon has virtually failed to comply with his request for attendance.

The Joint Investigation Headquarters, which gathered the police, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the Ministry of National Defense, failed to deliver a request for attendance to President Yoon Suk Yeol.

As well as attempts to deliver it directly to the presidential office and the official residence, mail delivery failed.

It has been confirmed that the mail of the attendance request sent to the president's office has been returned as "undelivered" and the request sent to the president's residence has been returned as "refused to receive".

In addition, President Yoon's side drew a line today (18th) when asked by reporters whether he would attend the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.

In response to this response, the Korea Communications Standards Agency said it could be considered aware of the request for attendance even if it did not receive the mail and said it would consider it as non-compliance with the request.

At the same time, he said he would consider whether to request a second round of attendance, and the head of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit also said he would take legal next steps.
