The government has decided to localize key space components needed to carry out a national space mission.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said that the 2nd working-level committee on space development has reviewed its "strategy to localize space parts technology."

The strategy includes space component technologies needed to carry out the five major space missions, a total of 167 technologies, including 64 expanding space exploration technologies, 31 space transportation, and 61 space industries and security.

The Space Agency also discussed the "Basic Direction for the Construction of the Space Agency Building" and the plan to develop geostationary weather and space weather satellites, which will be organized by private companies for the first time by 2030.

Some of the proposed agendas will be finalized after deliberation and resolution by the National Space Commission.
