The number of apartments moving in nationwide next year is expected to be significantly lower than this year.

Real Estate R114's tally estimated that the total number of apartments nationwide will be 263,330 in 2025, 28% less than this year's 364,058 units.

By region, 14 out of 17 cities and provinces nationwide will have fewer occupancy than this year, especially in Gyeonggi Province, which will decrease 40% and 46,500 households from this year, offsetting the increase in Seoul, which is slightly higher than this year.

The average monthly occupancy volume for next year is 22,000 households, and it is expected to decrease from 26,000 households per month in the first half to 18,000 per month in the second half.
