Goyang apartment fire in Gyeonggi Province...60 residents evacuated.

A fire broke out at around 6:30 p.m. today (20th) at the 8th floor of a 15-story apartment building in Madu-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The smoke spread through the apartment's corridors, forcing 60 residents to flee urgently, and four people inhaled the smoke in the process, but they were not taken to the hospital.

The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes without spreading to other generations as a result of the fire authorities once issuing and extinguishing the first phase of the response, which involved both the personnel and equipment of the competent fire department.
