At least 25 people were killed in a series of airstrikes by Israel in central and northern Gaza on the 20th local time, foreign media reported.

Ten members of a family, including seven children at home, were killed and 15 others injured in an Israeli bombing on a town in Jabalia in northern Gaza, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense Agency.

Ten members of the family were killed in the bombing targeting the residence, a spokesman for the Defense Security Agency said, adding that all seven children who died were under the age of six.

On the same day, airstrikes also killed at least eight people in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, but the Israeli military has not said anything.

The Israeli military has repeatedly claimed that Palestinian militant Hamas hides in civilian buildings and uses Palestinians as "human shields."
