The Gwangmyeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province sent a man in his 20s to the prosecution earlier this month on charges of using cameras and others under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.
Mr. A, who graduated from a prestigious university and works as an international sports organization, is accused of filming his sexual intercourse with his girlfriend without consent in August.
The victim filed a complaint last October after failing to respond immediately because he feared A would distribute the video.
Mr. A admitted the charges to the police and stated that he had deleted the video of the crime, but the police forensically conducted a forensic examination of Mr. A's mobile phone and found no video.
