As a result of the YTN report, the police special investigation team recently summoned Deputy Prime Minister Choi as a reference and secured an instruction document that President Yoon ordered to Deputy Prime Minister Choi during the emergency martial law cabinet meeting.
The one-page A4 paper document reportedly contained instructions such as "Cut off the operating expenses of the National Assembly immediately" and "Make a budget for the operation of the emergency martial law legislature."
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Choi explained to the National Assembly that he only remembered "securing financial funds" in relation to the contents of the document, and that he covered it with the feeling of ignoring the measures on the premise of martial law.
YTN reporters asked Deputy Prime Minister Choi to confirm the contents of the newly identified directive document, but no answer was received.President
Yoon said in a public conversation on the 12th that martial law was not intended to dissolve the National Assembly or paralyze its function, but it is expected to be controversial as circumstances appear to have attempted to suspend the operation of the National Assembly.
