The Democratic Party of Korea argued that the "insurrection mob" should be arrested as soon as possible after the prosecution's investigation that President Yoon Suk Yeol ordered front-line commanders to "break down the door of the National Assembly even by shooting."

In a written briefing, Cho Seung-rae, a senior spokesman, criticized the order to kill the people considering the firepower of the high-tech rifles possessed by the special forces, saying it was an order to kill the people.

He also criticized that the claim of warning martial law turned out to be a shameless lie, citing the arrest order issued to National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung, and former People's Power Han Dong-hoon at the time of martial law.
