Montenegro Justice Minister Boyan Bozovic has signed an order to extradite Kwon to the United States, according to local daily reports.
In the meantime, Kwon strongly demanded the Montenegrin government to go to Korea.
While the maximum economic penalty is around 40 years in South Korea, Kwon can also be sentenced to more than 100 years in prison because the U.S. adopts the concomitant principle of summing up the sentences for each individual crime.
On the 26th, the Montenegro Constitutional Court rejected a constitutional petition filed by the Supreme Court, which invalidated the lower court's decision to repatriate Kwon to Korea and handed over the authority to the Minister of Justice.
