"You should be faithful to your acting duties"...Urging the appointment of a constitutional judge
, "Acting authority, principle of maintaining the status quo...I don't have the authority to appoint him.
As the ruling and opposition parties put the blame for the unprecedented "acting" system on each other, the battle seems to be heating up.
While the opposition party is pressing Acting President Choi Sang-mok to quickly cooperate with the appointment of a constitutional judge, the ruling party is confronting that the Democratic Party of Korea's plan for parliamentary paralysis is being revealed through the "Julan Impeachment."

After the impeachment of the first acting president in constitutional history, the Democratic Party also issued a clear warning to Deputy Prime Minister Choi Sang-mok, who took over the acting presidency.
It is to immediately appoint a constitutional judge recommended by the National Assembly and quickly announce the independent counsel for the civil war and Mrs. Kim.
[Han Min-soo / Spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Korea] The mandate that the people are demanding is clear. It is a prompt appointment of three constitutional judges legally made through the National Assembly.
Although he is still reticent about the possibility of further impeachment at the party level, he seems to be closely watching Choi's remarks that "the acting president has a limited role."
He continued to press that there is no constitutional act of acting, and that he should be faithful to his duties as an acting president.
Targeting the power of the people, he urged them to cooperate with the appointment of a constitutional judge, saying, "Are you determined to endure until the end of President Yoon's term?"
On the other hand, the People's Power holds the position that Choi has no authority to appoint the acting president as the basic principle is to maintain the status quo.
With the Constitutional Court already operating under a six-member system, the appointment of a constitutional judge with a six-year term as an acting president constitutes a change in the status quo.
At the same time, he backfired on the impeachment of Han, calling it an attempt to "devastate the state administration."
[Seo Ji-young / People's Power Floor Spokesperson: The unprovoked series of impeachment will increase economic uncertainties such as a decline in external credibility and a contraction in the economy of people's livelihoods. It's only the Democrats that should be in charge.]
In particular, the Democratic Party of Korea began impeachment proceedings about 20 minutes after an acting statement emphasizing the ruling and opposition parties' agreement on the appointment of a constitutional judge, setting the stage that it shows no willingness to talk with the ruling party itself.
The Cabinet meeting on the 31st and the deadline for the re-examination of the Bilateral Special Prosecutors Act, which is coming up on the 1st of next month, are expected to be another watershed in the political situation.
Some point out that it is difficult to find a way to put our heads together to come up with measures to deal with the chaos of state affairs by focusing on the "I blame you" battle between the
ruling and opposition parties.
