A group of Koreans used violence at an entertainment establishment run by Korean residents in Vietnam, killing an owner and putting an employee in critical condition.

According to the Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the local Korean community, three Koreans in their 30s wielded blunt weapons against business owners and employees at a bar run by Koreans in Ho Chi Minh City's first division early on the 28th local time.

While the owner died at the scene and the staff was in critical condition, one of the perpetrators was caught by local police, but the other two fled.

An official from the Consulate General explained, "Local public security is investigating the details of the incident by arresting one person," adding, "We are providing consular assistance to the bereaved families of the victims."
