Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a message of consolation to South Korea over the Jeju Air plane disaster at Muan International Airport, China's state-run CCTV reported.
"President Xi Jinping sent a consolation telegram to Acting President Choi Sang-mok at around 6:30 p.m. today (29th), saying he was surprised to hear that a plane accident in South Korea caused serious casualties," Chinese CCTV said.
"We express our deepest condolences to the victims of Samga and wish the injured to regain their health as soon as possible," President
said in a consolation text.
