President Yoon Suk Yeol, who refused to comply with the third summons of the Joint Investigation Headquarters, dismissed the possibility of an investigative agency requesting an arrest warrant.

Yoon Gap-geun, a lawyer who serves as a public information officer for Yoon Suk Yeol's presidential lawyers, argued in a phone call with YTN today (29th) that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit will not be able to request an arrest warrant and will be dismissed even if it does.

Considering that legal procedures are not being followed at all and that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit or the Joint Investigation Headquarters do not have proper investigation authority, they have not met the arrest requirements.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit does not have the authority to investigate rebellion, and that the Joint Investigation Headquarters is an arbitrary organization with no legal basis.

He also said that it doesn't make sense for a president who has to solve these problems to comply with the procedure, and that he will have to stop the impeachment process and conduct an investigation or stop the investigation.

He then explained that the outline of an agent who will help criminal cases will only be possible after the investigation system is properly overhauled.
