In connection with the Jeju Air flight disaster from Bangkok, the Thai prime minister expressed his interest in the situation of his citizens along with mourning for the victims.

Japan also reported the accident in detail, noting that its airlines are operating the same model.

Thai Prime Minister Tsang Thawat, who lost
, mourned the victims on his social media and ordered Thailand's foreign ministry to urgently investigate details concerning its citizens' passengers.

Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba also said he is deeply saddened by the loss of many noble lives in Korea, expressing his sincere condolences to the victims and their bereaved families on behalf of the Japanese government and the Japanese people, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.

Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya also offered condolences to the victims and their families, saying he was heartbroken to hear the news in a separate consolation message.

Japanese media also broke the news of the Jeju Air plane disaster as emergency news.

Japan's NHK quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying that there were no Japanese on board the plane, and reported in detail the fire authorities' rescue situation.

The Yomiuri Shimbun reported that Jeju Air is also operating at Japan's regional airport, and that it flew more than 3.5 million passengers on both routes between Korea and Japan last year.

Nihon Keizai said the aircraft in the accident were Boeing 737-800, with 39 all-Japan Air (ANA) and 56 JALs.

However, these airlines are said to have no plans to change their operations until the cause of the accident is revealed.
