Winter weather similar to previous years continues at the end of the year and New Year, but some areas have extreme cold of around minus 10 degrees Celsius.

The sun will then set at 5:24 in Seoul, 5:29 in Manripo, 5:35 in Sebang Nakjo, Jindo, and 5:40 in Gageodo, Sinan.

The Year of the Blue Snake, on the first day of 2025, we will be able to welcome the first year under clear skies in the East Sea.

However, in the western region, the sunrise is expected to be seen through the scattered clouds.

The first sunrise of the new year can also be seen first at 7:26 a.m. on Dokdo.

Inland, the first year of 2025 is expected to rise five minutes later at 7:31 in Ganjeolgot in Ulsan, 7:32 in Homigot in Pohang, 7:39 in Jeongdongjin in Gangneung, and 7:47 in Seoul.

At the end of the year and the beginning of the new year, winter cold is expected to be at the level of previous years across the country as the momentum of the cold has been dampened.

However, in some inland areas, the wind chill is expected to be lower in the cold of around minus 10 degrees Celsius, so you need to manage your body temperature with cold clothes to see the sunset or sunrise in person.
