Police have launched a forced investigation into the Jeju Air plane disaster.

In order to find out the cause and responsibility of the accident, three places, including Muan Airport and Jeju Air, were raided, and Jeju Air CEO Kim Yi-bae was banned from leaving the country.

This is the office on the second floor of Muan Airport, where the police came in.

Airport officials removed the organizational map, and police began to secure evidence as security guards surrounded the door.

" Open the door. (Why did you search and seizure?)"

The Muan branch office of the Busan Regional Aviation Administration and the Seoul office of Jeju Air on the third floor of the same building were also raided.

Police reportedly secured data related to plane maintenance, airport facilities, and CCTV at the three places where the raid was conducted.

" (Have you obtained any data regarding the installation of concrete huts?) …."

No one has been booked so far, but a warrant has been issued on charges of professional negligence.

Police have put more than 30 investigators into the raid.

This is the first simultaneous forced investigation since the Jeju Air plane accident.

Police are focusing their investigation on the legality of installing structures such as landing gear, airport management, azimuth facilities, and local risers, which have been blamed for the increase in damage.

[Police official: Airport facilities are related at the airport, and the airport branch office is definitely related to control, so of course we have to see them all. Records of aircraft operations, maintenance, facilities, documents to secure them....]

At the same time, the police banned two people, including Jeju Air CEO Kim Yi-bae and an executive, from leaving the country.

The police explained that they are not booked, but that they need to be investigated quickly as important witnesses.
