Park said at the floor meeting that public unrest and national crisis caused by the civil war are continuing, and quickly eliminating uncertainty is the most important thing in dealing with the situation.
In a statement, the Conference of Constitutional Scholars for Constitutional Restoration said it was unconstitutional to refuse to appoint a constitutional judge recommended by the National Assembly, and 542 political scientists also called for the appointment.
At the same time, the Democratic Party of Korea added that it will do its best to thoroughly investigate the facts such as the unconstitutionality and illegality of the martial law incident through a parliamentary investigation into allegations of civil war conducted by the National Assembly.
