The National Assembly's Special Committee on National Investigation held its first meeting and adopted an investigation plan to find out the truth about the "alleged civil war" following the declaration of the emergency martial law of the president of Yoon Suk Yeol.

The passed investigation plan includes that the investigation will be conducted for 45 days from today to February 13 for emergency martial law-related organizations such as the Presidential Office, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

After the investigation plan was approved at the plenary session this afternoon, the Special Committee on National Assistance will begin its full-fledged activities.

Ahn Kyu-baek of the Democratic Party was the chairman of the special committee, while Kim Sung-won of the People's Power and Han Byung-do of the Democratic Party were appointed as secretaries of the ruling and opposition parties, respectively.
