Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said he would do his best to prevent the recurrence of the accident, praying for the victims' repose.
Earlier, Chairman Woo and the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties each visited Muan International Airport, where the accident occurred, to express their deep condolences to the bereaved families and promise to do their best to support the bereaved families and come up with countermeasures.
