Amid the resignation of officials from the Korea Communications Standards Commission in the aftermath of the National Assembly's budget cuts, Chairman Ryu Hee-rim said he will do his best to ensure that there are no difficulties in the work environment and treatment.

Chairman Ryu said in a statement posted on the company's bulletin board today (31st) that he takes the situation of many opinions and concerns regarding the budget seriously.

He also explained that the reduction in the chairman's salary was not a side opinion decided at the plenary session of the National Assembly, and that he is already preparing to raise funds by cutting work promotion costs and freezing salaries next year.

At the same time, the National Assembly and the government's budget authorities urged the committee to perform its original deliberation function through an extra budget or fund management change as soon as possible.

Earlier, the Korea Communications Standards Commission issued a letter of resignation from the National Assembly, with six heads of offices and directors, 17 team leaders, and five heads of local offices taking responsibility for next year's budget cut.

In response, the National Press Union's Korea Communications Union emphasized that if the chairman's salary is not cut, he will enter a struggle to protect the survival rights of employees who are on the brink of office eviction.
