According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index reported by Bloomberg News on the 31st local time, the total net worth of the world's 500 richest people was $9.8 trillion as of the previous day, and KRW 1,423 trillion in Korean money.
This is similar to the combined GDP of Germany, Japan and Australia in 2023, Bloomberg explained.
Last year, the net asset growth of the 500 richest people was $1.5 trillion and 2,207 trillion won in Korean money, of which 43% of the eight rich people in the U.S. technology industry.
