In a written briefing, floor spokesman Kang Yoo-jung pointed out that no single citizen has given the right to the appointed deputy prime minister for economy or the Minister of Strategy and Finance to select candidates for constitutional judges elected by the National Assembly.
Since the ruling and opposition parties' agreement was confirmed by the expressions of National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik and floor leader Park Chan-dae, acting Choi urged the Constitutional Court to approve the appointment of a constitutional judge.
