The People's Power proposed that the National Future Food Business Act, including the Special Act on the Semiconductor Industry, the National Key Power Network Expansion Act, and the Special Act on High-Level Protection Units, be handled collectively by the National Assembly this month.

Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, said at an emergency committee meeting that the ruling and opposition parties should put their heads together and find measures to maintain strong exports.

In particular, he emphasized that he asked the opposition to proactively cooperate in easing the 52-hour workweek for semiconductor research and development workers, which the industry strongly demands, with the Special Act on the Semiconductor Industry.

In 2025, he said, "Politics should firmly support the national economy," adding that he will take the lead in restoring the power of the people as the National Assembly for people's livelihoods.
