Jin Sung-joon, chairman of the policy committee of the Democratic Party of Korea, stressed that the investigation into the emergency martial law incident, which is currently being conducted by the prosecution and the joint investigation headquarters, should be unified into a "special investigation into civil war."

At the policy coordination meeting, Jin said that it is a serious violation of the law not to make the request for the special prosecutor's recommendation three weeks, and that Acting President Choi Sang-mok should start the process of appointing the special prosecutor immediately.

He also said that the National Assembly should hold a plenary session and hold a resolution as soon as possible for the general special prosecution and the Kim Special Prosecutor Act, which Choi exercised his right to request reconsideration.
