The Joint Chiefs of Staff said, "The claim to delete the martial law record is not true...Error Correction"

The Joint Chiefs of Staff has explained that it is not true about the claim that martial law-related files have been deleted from the internal battlefield network "Cajics."

In a statement to the Defense Ministry's press corps, the JCS explained that there was no record deleted by the JCS about the alleged deletion of martial law records, and that it was a common move by the ROK Command and Communications Command to correct or update errors.

At the same time, he stressed that the Joint Chiefs of Staff is faithfully engaged in investigations related to the December 3 emergency martial law and demands of the National Assembly.

Earlier, Park Sun-won of the Democratic Party of Korea called for an investigation into this, claiming that the log files related to martial law have already been deleted as a result of the analysis of the log files of the "Kazix" network.
