Amid the speeding up of the investigation into the alleged civil war against the president of Yoon Suk Yeol, the People's Power pressed the judiciary to expedite the trial of Lee Jae-myung, the representative of the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party plans to quickly push for a re-vote of the "Civil War Special Counsel Act" that Acting President Choi Sang-mok sent back to the National Assembly.

The People's Power argued that it was not fair for the judiciary to delay the trial of Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party while expediting the review of the president's arrest warrant.

In particular, he stressed that the violation of the election law, which was sentenced to the loss of the parliamentary seat in the first trial, is stipulated to complete the appeal within three months, and that the court deadline should be met.

Analysts say that the ruling party's renewed emphasis on representative Lee's trial is related to the situation in which some constitutional judges are added to speed up the president's impeachment trial.

In preparation for the possibility of an early presidential election becoming a reality, it is a strategy to gather supporters with a "anti-revision" front.

In response, the opposition party is focusing on defining the power of the people as a "civil war sympathizing party."

The Democratic Party of Korea further accused eight ruling party politicians, including floor leader Kwon Sung-dong, of propaganda for defending President Yoon, and the Cho Kuk Innovation Party raised its voice that a trial on the dissolution of an unconstitutional party is needed.

It is also urgent to unify the investigation into allegations of rebellion as a special prosecutor, and he repeatedly urged Acting President Choi Sang-mok to recommend a permanent special prosecutor.

Among the eight bills that returned to the National Assembly earlier, including the Grain Management Act, the Democratic Party is also considering putting only the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act to a re-vote first.

The "anti-revision" offensive of the people's power that they cannot admit to the charges of rebellion is also expected to intensify.
