With the national mourning period declared until tomorrow (4th) due to the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, the number of mourners at the joint memorial altar in local governments across the country exceeded 200,000.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters said that until yesterday, the number of mourners at the joint memorial altar set up at 105 locations across the country, including Muan Airport, Muan Sports Park, and Seoul City Hall's main building, was about 209,00.

More than 43,000 people visited the memorial altar in Jeollanam-do, where Muan-gun belongs, and 22,000 people in Gwangju.

Excluding Muan Airport and Muan Sports Park, the joint memorial altar of local governments nationwide will be open until tomorrow (4th), the national mourning period.
