Prosecutors investigating the emergency martial law incident have handed over former martial law commander Park An-soo and Army Special Forces commander Kwak Jong-gun to trial in custody.

The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law command arrested and indicted Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo and former Commander Kwak on charges of rebellion and abuse of authority by the Central Military Court today (3rd).

During the investigation, the prosecution secured a transcript of the call among the commanders of the special forces field who were deployed to the National Assembly, saying, "The president told me to break the door and pull it out."After declaring martial law, former martial law commander
Park is accused of receiving decree No. 1 containing unconstitutional contents from former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, signing and issuing it himself.

In addition, according to former Minister Kim's instructions, he demanded career support from then-Police Commissioner George Ho to block the National Assembly and approved the helicopter carrying the 707th Special Task Force to fly to the National Assembly.

Special Forces Commander Kwak Jong-geun is accused of receiving orders to block the National Assembly and the NEC from former Minister Kim Yong-hyun on December 1 last year, two days before martial law, and sending 466 troops, including the 707 Special Mission Group and the 1st Airborne Special Forces Brigade, to the National Assembly at the time of martial law.
