China has decided to invest more than 100 trillion won in railway infrastructure construction this year, which has been actively spending on sluggish domestic demand.

State-owned China National Chulo Group (CR) said at its New Year's business meeting it would invest 590 billion yuan (about 119 trillion won) in building railway infrastructure.

He added that by 2030, the railway line will be expanded to 180,000 km, of which high-speed rail lines will have an unprecedented transportation system worldwide reaching 60,000 km.
